Postponement and Name Change of the Osaka Forum 2020 of the Association of Hyperdifferent Fields

In response to the declaration of a state of emergency regarding new coronavirus infections, the Japan Society of Hyperdisciplinary Research, Osaka Forum 2020, scheduled for May 16, 2020 (Saturday), will be held in Osaka, Japan,Postponed to Sunday, June 21, 2020The Company has decided to postpone the meeting. In addition, due to the postponement, the venue is being adjusted to either Osaka City or Kobe City.Name changed to Kansai ForumWe will do so.

The Association of Hyperdifferent Fields is a place to gather diverse research themes across fields and to create the seeds for new research projects by weaving together the perspectives and ideas of researchers, venture companies, businesses, town factories, junior high and high school students, and others in different capacities. Because we are in a situation where even universities and other research institutions are unable to conduct research, we hope to develop and implement methods to continue activities that will lead to the advancement of science and technology, which play an important role in bringing about change in society.

We will continue to review the contents and methods of holding this event as necessary, taking into consideration the situation regarding new coronavirus infection. Any changes will be posted on our web page.
