The 10th Annual Meeting of the Society for Transdisciplinary Research (updated February 22, 2021)

Due to the postponement of the implementation period of the emergency measures by March 7, 2021, we would like to inform you of our current policy (February 22, 2021) regarding the "10th Plenary Meeting of the Japan Society for Hyperdifferential Research" to be held on March 5 and 6, 2021.

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government's emergency measures set the guideline for holding events as "[indoors] with a maximum number of 5,000 people and a capacity ratio of 50% or less" (as of February 22, 2021). We plan to hold the event in compliance with this policy and in cooperation with the event venue, after taking measures against new coronavirus infection.

In order to hold the event, there may be calls for voluntary restraint of travel to the Tokyo metropolitan area in some areas at this time. In order to allow more researchers to participate and to limit the number of visitors on the day to prevent overcrowding, we will also combine online poster presentations using avatars.

Because research at universities and other research institutions is not being conducted at all, we intend to develop and implement methods to continue activities that will lead to the advancement of science and technology, which play an important role in bringing about change in society. In the future, we will continue to riba ness will continue to develop communication methods using a variety of tools to ensure that knowledge manufacturing never stops.
