The 10th Annual Meeting of the Association of Hyperdifferent Fields

2021.01.08
Announcement of the 10th Annual Meeting of the Society for Transdisciplinary Research.

Due to the declaration of a state of emergency, we would like to inform you of our current (January 8, 2021) policy regarding the 10th Plenary Meeting of the Association of Hyperdifferent Fields, to be held on March 5 and 6, 2021.

In the emergency declaration issued on January 7, 2021, it was announced that the policy for holding events is "up to 5,000 people with a maximum of 50% of the capacity". We plan to hold the event in compliance with this policy and in cooperation with the venue, after taking measures against new coronavirus infection.

In order to hold the event, there may be calls for voluntary restraint of travel to the Tokyo metropolitan area in some areas at this time. In order to allow more researchers to participate and to limit the number of visitors on the day to prevent overcrowding, we will also combine online poster presentations using avatars.

Because of the situation in which even universities and other research institutions are unable to conduct research, we intend to develop and implement methods that will enable us to continue activities that lead to the advancement of science and technology, which play an important role in bringing about change in society. Going forward, LIVERNESS will continue to develop communication methods utilizing a variety of tools to ensure that knowledge manufacturing never stops.
