The 10th Super Interdisciplinary Conference] Manufacturing Challenges and Solutions for Manufacturing Ventures / March 5, 2021, 11:00a.m.-@Ota-ku, Tokyo
2021.01.04A panel discussion on "Manufacturing Issues and Solutions for Manufacturing Ventures" (session partner: KOBASHI HOLDINGS Co., Ltd.) will be held within the 10th Annual Conference of the Association of Hyperdifferent Fields, hosted by RIVANES (March 5-6, 2021 (Friday and Saturday)).
In the past few years, as a result of the progress in prototyping support by local factories and increased investment in the deep-tech area, many startups have been able to accelerate their businesses. On the other hand, an increasing number of cases are facing challenges in the phase of looking toward full-scale mass production with a view to commercialization. Mr. Nagata of the Real Tech Fund and Mr. Omae of the Drone Fund, both of which have made numerous investments in the deep tech area, and Mr. Kobashi of Kobashi Holdings, which supports manufacturing startups, will be invited as guests to discuss the challenges faced by manufacturing ventures on the front lines and solutions to these challenges. and solutions for the challenges faced by front-line manufacturing ventures.
We will have a program of discussions among researchers, start-ups, and large companies from a variety of perspectives, not limited to the themes of this session.

Graduated from Waseda University Graduate School of Business Administration (MBA).Joined Kobashi Kogyo Co. in 2008.Appointed President and Representative Director of the company in 2016.Established KOBASHI HOLDINGS Co. in 2017 and became President and Representative Director.Promoted mechanization of agriculture since its establishment in 1910 and devoted to solving issues in the agricultural sector. He has been a member of the KOBASHI HOLDINGS Group since its establishment in 1910. Applying the knowledge and technology he has cultivated over the years, he co-creates innovations with startup companies to solve global issues.

After graduating from Keio University's Faculty of Commerce, he joined an independent private equity fund and became a director of Euglena in 2008, overseeing business strategy, M&A, fundraising, capital alliance, PR/IR, and administration since the company was unlisted. Currently, as COO and General Manager of the Health Care Company, he is responsible for all business execution, including brand launches, biofuel business, and R&D. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of Euglena Co. He is also a representative of the Real Tech Fund, one of the largest technology VC firms in Japan.

In 2002, he founded Creative Hope Inc. and has successfully led numerous domestic and international projects through strategic web/IT consulting. As a drone grapher (2014-), his activities include winning the runner-up prize in the Drone Movie Contest (2016) and overall supervision for Yomiuri TV Drone Zekkei Kiko (2018) He was appointed to the Drone Fund Advisory Board in 2017 and became co-chair partner the following year. He is a professor at Business Breakthrough University/Graduate School (specializing in digital marketing).

Kazuhiro Hasegawa
He holds a Master's degree in Engineering from Tokyo Metropolitan University. Joined RIVERNESS from the first year of his master's degree, then became the first new employee of RIVERNESS, and was appointed as Executive Officer in 2012. He is also responsible for launching Techplanter, an incubation business in the manufacturing field, managing Garage Sumida in collaboration with Hamano Seisakusho, and promoting the Super Factory Group. He also established Japan's largest incubation facility for manufacturing start-ups, "Center of Garage," and is responsible for the revitalization of manufacturing companies from a wide range of perspectives.
