With the simplification of transportation, the international movement of people and goods has become more active, and the definition of national borders has become blurred. It is no exaggeration to say that the history of mankind has been built on the battle against infectious diseases, but the COVID-19 outbreak has triggered a renewed awareness of the threat of infectious diseases that originate somewhere on the planet and spread globally in the blink of an eye. At the same time, research and development of medicines, treatment methods, and prevention methods have evolved, and we are now faced with the need to respond not only in our own countries but also globally. In this session, we will hear from Rohto Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. which is developing regenerative medicine and prevention areas globally, MyCan Technologies, Inc. which develops research materials for drug discovery and vaccines using regenerative medicine, and Japan and foreign countries investing in joint research and development for infectious diseases in developing countries.GHIT Fundwill gather to discuss the future of infectious disease control.

We have prepared a program of discussions among researchers, venture companies, and large corporations from various perspectives, not limited to the themes of this session. We are currently accepting applications for audience participation. Please visit the conference website (see below).
