What is Hyper Interdisciplinary Conference?
Hyper Interdisciplinary Conference (HIC) is a place where researchers, large corporations, small factories, and startups, regardless of their field or industry, can fuse their knowledge and technology through discussion, identify new research themes and issues that humanity needs to face, and or industry, can fuse their knowledge and technology through discussion, identify new research themes and issues that humanity needs to face, and promote research together.
In addition, looking at society, there are many issues that cannot be solved without combining the various types of knowledge that have emerged from research. In a society where knowledge is diversifying and issues are becoming more complex, we will continue to create new disciplines and methods to solve social issues by integrating knowledge through Hyper Interdisciplinary Communication.
This time, we will hold the inaugural HIC in Taiwan!
By uniting the knowledge accumulated through this process based on empathy, we aim to generate new questions and projects, and transform them into practical knowledge that will move industry and society.

Dr. Shuichiro Takahashi

Mr. Shuichiro holds a Ph.D. in Life Science from the Graduate School of Frontier Sciences, the University of Tokyo, and specializes in plant virology. He has developed original business models and R&D programs. He has developed original business models such as the Leave a Nest Research Grant and L-RAD, a platform for underutilized research ideas, and has developed a new business model for the company. Dr. Yevgeny Aster Dulla

Yev was born and raised in Iloilo City, Philippines. He graduated with a degree in BS Chemistry from the University of the Philippines – Visayas, after which he worked as an instructor at the University of the Philippines – Manila. He came to Japan in 2013 to pursue graduate studies through the HIGO Program of Kumamoto University, and acquired his Masters in Health Life Sciences in 2015 and his PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences in 2018. He worked at a business consultancy company in Tokyo in 2019 to help bring biotechnology and medical companies from abroad into Japan. In 2020, he joined Leave a Nest Co., Ltd. and is currently under the Frontier Development Division. He is also a Balik Scientist Awardee for 2021, and is very passionate in helping accelerate science and technology in the Philippines, as he believes it will be the key to the country’s development

Over the past 12 years, she has played a key role in the early expansion of Leave a Nest Group in Asia, including the international expansion of core programs such as Science Castle, Hyper Nest Group in Asia, and the international expansion of core programs such as Science Castle, Hyper Nest Group in Asia. He holds a Master’s degree in Science from the Graduate School of Bioscience and Biotechnology at Tokyo Institute of Technology. He joined Leave a Nest Co., Ltd. in 2007 and has been engaged in the development of science and technology education programs.
He has led the planning and development of various initiatives, including the “Space Education Project” utilizing the International Space Station, the NTV Robot Battle Championship featuring life-sized robots, the “Omoro Fushigi Lab” in collaboration with Yoshimoto Kogyo, robotics programs for elementary school students, and programs at the TEPIA Advanced Technology Gallery.
In 2017, he founded the Monozukuri Research Center, collaborating with local manufacturing factories to support product development for startups and major corporations. He currently works in the Manufacturing Development Division, supporting manufacturing and product development for venture companies and large enterprises.
Masaki Kimura

He conducted research on the development of instruments for radio telescopes at JAXA while studying at the Graduate School of Systems Engineering at Hosei University. After graduation, he gained experience in science education through various roles, including serving as a part-time instructor for science experiment classes at science museums and private companies. He has been involved in the planning and development of numerous educational programs and science learning content.
Tzen-Ying Jenny
Tamkang UniversityDepartment of Architecture
She is a licensed architect and co-founder of Origo Living, a health-tech service startup based in Taipei. She leads the CReS Nomad Lab and serves as a Professor in Resilience Thinking at Tamkang University.
She practiced in New York after graduating from Columbia University. After relocating to Taiwan, she worked with the central government and served as a client representative for various large-scale development projects. She later founded her interdisciplinary practice, leading projects ranging from small to large scale while coordinating across multiple disciplines.
She has also held visiting researcher positions at Academia Sinica, Parsons School of Design, and the New York University Urban Systems Lab. She has been invited as a jury critic, lecturer, and tutor at numerous institutions.
Her practice and research have received several design awards and recognitions. Her work focuses on integrating resilience into the design process, particularly by incorporating resilience strategies from the early stages of design. She founded the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Taipei Section and currently serves as President of the GSAPP Alumni Board at Columbia University.

Kihoko Tokue Leave a Nest Singapore Pte. Ltd. Leave a Nest Asia group Education background: PhD in Science (Behavioral Biology), Rikkyo University MSc in Science, University of New England BSc graduated with Magna Cum Laude, Indiana University of Pennsylvania Born in Tokyo, raised in Singapore and Thailand. Educated in the US and Australia. She has working experience in Thailand as a researcher and lecturer at King Mongkut's Technology Thonburi. She joined Leave a Nest in 2011, founded Leave a Nest Malaysia in 2013, and became Leave a Nest Singapore president from 2016. Her dream is to build Leave a Nest Asia as leading global leader hub for bringing "Advancing Science and Technology for Global Happiness"
