The Hyper Interdisciplinary Conference Osaka 2025, hosted by RIVANES, will hold the session "Beyond Freshness! (session partner: Daikin Industries, Ltd.) will be held at the Hyper Interdisciplinary Conference Osaka 2025.
Many of the foods that grace our tables reach us after long journeys, sometimes across oceans. In the transportation of fruits and vegetables, in particular, it is essential to ensure a cold chain to maintain freshness. However, many of these products are exposed to microorganisms during transportation, deteriorate and spoil, and are disposed of, resulting in food loss. In this session, we will work with microbiology experts to explore control methods in the cold chain and the possibility of using microorganisms to create value-added food products beyond freshness preservation.
We will have a program of discussions with researchers, ventures, and companies from a variety of perspectives, not limited to the themes of this session. For more information,Conference Websitefor more information.
