Panel discussion on "How core regional companies can support ventures originating from the region" at Kagawa Forum 2022, a super interdisciplinary conference hosted by LIVERNESS (session partner: HOXIN Co., Ltd.)(the "Company") will be held.

In order to solve global issues and revitalize regional economies, it is important to discover and nurture technology ventures from the region. To this end, it is necessary to create an ecosystem in the region that nurtures venture businesses, and it can be said that core regional companies that possess superior technology and drive the regional economy play an important role in this ecosystem. In this session, we will discuss from what perspectives leading companies in the region are engaged in finding and fostering ventures, and what they are doing to develop the ecosystem, together with core regional companies that have been supporting ventures in the region for many years.

Mr. Yasumasa Manabe
HOXIPresident and Representative Director, N Co.

Born in Takamatsu City, Kagawa Prefecture, he graduated from Hitotsubashi University in 1999 with a degree in economics. After working for a management consulting firm and an investment company, he joined Takamatsu Kotodaira Electric Railway Co. He is also a representative director of HOXIN, Inc. and an outside director of Kenrobotech, Dennou Kotsu, and MATCHA.

 

 

 

Mr. Kyouji Hase
President and Representative Director, Hase Tora Spinning Co.

Born in Gifu Prefecture. After graduating from Reitaku Mizunami Junior and Senior High School, he went on to Reitaku University and graduated in March 2003.In April 2003, he joined Hase Tora Boseki Co. After serving as president of the Osaka branch and a subsidiary in China, he became the fifth generation president of Hase Tora Group in December 2019. He has been involved in the textile business for 135 years since its establishment and is currently working to "Change the world with materials! as his mission, he is collaborating with various bio-venture companies and promoting the fiberization and commercialization of environmentally friendly materials.

 

 

 

Mr. Koyo Takenoshita
CEO, ARK Inc.
In 2006, he joined a hardware startup as a new graduate. After six months, he became the youngest executive officer and was appointed COO. After engaging in new product development as an engineer, he established production technology, technical support, and planning office in accordance with the company's growth. In 2016, he joined Uhuru as an evangelist of IoT and was appointed as General Manager of Product Development Division. In December 2020, he founded ARK Inc. He was appointed President and Representative Director. He is committed to the realization of a sustainable society through the development and provision of containerized zero-emission land-based aquaculture systems.
