We will hold a session titled "Envisioning the Future of Dairy and Livestock Production "Living Together" (session partner: Meiji Holdings Co., Ltd.) within the Hokkaido Forum 2022 (Saturday, November 26, 2022).

Hyper Interdisciplinary Conference in Hokkaido Forum 2022

The dairy and livestock industries, which support the food supply of mankind, are currently facing a variety of issues ranging from environmental problems such as greenhouse gas emissions from livestock to problems faced at production sites such as livestock manure disposal. It is necessary to explore ways to "live together" with the dairy and livestock industries, taking into consideration not only their economic development but also global environmental sustainability. In this session, we will invite several venture companies and researchers who are promoting research and initiatives to solve these issues, and create opportunities to present proposals for demonstration research and joint projects to create a vision for the future of dairy and livestock farming.

We will have a program of discussions among researchers, startups, and large companies from a variety of perspectives, not limited to the themes of this session. For more information,Conference Websitefor more information.
