A panel discussion, "Growing Marine Products from Underutilized Land through the Use of Advanced Aquaculture Technology" (session partner KOBASHI HOLDINGS Co., Ltd.) will be held within the Kagawa Forum 2021 (Saturday, December 4, 2021), a super interdisciplinary conference hosted by RIVERNESS.

In Japan, the number of people engaged in agriculture is decreasing year by year, and in many parts of the country, land that was previously utilized as fields is now in an untapped state. In order to solve this problem, KOBASHI HOLDINGS Co. In this session, we will discuss the development of this culture pool. In this session, Mr. Toshimasa Yamamoto, who has developed "suitable environmental water" and realized location-independent aquaculture based on the new concept of cultivating marine products from farmland using this culture pool, Mr. Tsuyoshi Kohama, who is developing technology to safely cultivate mokuzu crab on land by using the "suitable environmental water," and Mr. Tadashi Kohama, who is developing technology to safely cultivate mokuzu crab on land by using the "suitable environmental water. We would like to discuss the path needed to realize this concept by inviting Mr. Toshimasa Yamamoto, who has developed location-independent aquaculture, Mr. Tsuyoshi Kohama, who is developing technology that enables safe land-based aquaculture of Mokuzugani crabs using the "suitable environment water", and Mr. Masataka Yahagi, who is facing the problem of unused land in Maniwa City, Okayama Prefecture.
