The panel discussion "Expansion of Sustainable Ecosystem from the Island ~OIST Deeptech Meetup Seminar~" (session partner: Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology Graduate University (OIST)) will be held during the 10th Annual Conference of the Association of Transdisciplinary Studies (March 5-6, 2021 (Friday and Saturday)), hosted by RIVERNESS. The Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology Graduate University (OIST) is one of the world's top nine research institutions in the world. Currently, Okinawa Prefecture is about to launch an initiative to create an ecosystem to solve social issues facing the world (deep issues) with a collection of science and technology (deep tech), centered on OIST, which is proud of its research capabilities, and taking advantage of its location near Southeast Asia.
In this session, OIST researchers and integrators will discuss the theme of sustainable ecosystems unique to island nations with limited resources. Please pay attention to the role model of sustainable ecosystem construction from Okinawa.

Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology (OIST) Graduate University, ranked 9th place in the world according to New Nature Index, is a highly Now, OIST is taking the lead in building an ecosystem in Okinawa that aims to solve island Now, OIST is taking the lead in building an ecosystem in Okinawa that aims to solve island deep issues in the world with science and technology, while taking advantage of its location close to Southeast Asia.

After selling Orb in 2018, he joined Google Global Accelator Program as a lead mentor and OIST as an EIR, and is developing the next generation startup ecosystem in Okinawa.
