8/28, 9/16 Kochi Prefecture x Super-Different Field Conference to be held for the first time, now accepting applications for participation.

On August 28 (Fri.) and September 16 (Wed.), 2020, LIVERNESS and Kochi Prefecture will collaborate to hold the "Kochi Prefecture x Hyperdifferent Field Conference". We are currently accepting applications for audience and pitch session presenters, so please join us.

Kochi Prefecture aims to create highly unique demonstration projects in Kochi's rich natural environment through collaboration between startup companies and researchers with advanced technological seeds and businesses and entrepreneurs in the prefecture.

The "Super Heterodox Society," a platform for the creation of new knowledge hosted by LIVERNESS, and Kochi Prefecture will collaborate to create a place to accelerate the fusion of knowledge between different fields and promote initiatives that will contribute to regional development.

Friday, August 28 will focus on "Food Tech" and Wednesday, September 16 on "Agri-Tech",
We will hold forums inviting start-ups and major business companies from outside the prefecture that are active in their respective fields, as well as advanced businesses in the prefecture.

Pitch sessions are held within each forum, calling for demonstration experiments and business ideas that can be realized by combining the participants' own knowledge, technology, and know-how with the prefecture's resources.
From the ideas presented, we aim to launch a project with the support of Kochi Prefecture and Rivanes to actually proceed with a demonstration experiment.
We are currently accepting applications for presenters, so please join us.

If the number of applicants exceeds 15 companies, speakers will be selected by a screening process. If the theme of the presentation differs significantly from the Foodtech/AgriTech area, we may decline the presentation.

In consideration of infection control measures, the Kochi venue will be limited to residents of Kochi Prefecture, and the Tokyo venue will be limited to 30 participants. We hope that many of you will be able to participate in the conference, which will also be open for online presentations and auditing.
