　A special session on the current state of the super-important social issues scattered in India and Southeast Asia, "The Current State of the Social Issues in India and Southeast Asia," will be held during the 9th Annual Conference of the Association of Transdisciplinary Studies, March 6-7, 2020 (Friday and Saturday), hosted by LIVANES.Dawn of the Deep IssueThe session will be held with ArcNest, a problem-solving incubator in India, as the session partner.

　It goes without saying that Asia is littered with major untapped challenges. For example, air and water pollution in India, energy and infrastructure issues in the Philippines, and super-aging issues and rising medical costs in Thailand. Understanding these issues and helping Japan solve them as a member of Asia is the new business of the next decade.

　Therefore, in this session,The panelists will include operators of issue-solving incubators/accelerators in three issue-driven countries (India, the Philippines, and Thailand), and will share a set of local issues that are difficult to grasp from a Japanese perspective. The panelists will also discuss the potential of Japanese technology to contribute to solving issues in their countries.

We will have a program of discussions among researchers, venture companies, and large corporations from various perspectives, not limited to the themes of this session.
