　RIVANES will host a special session "Japan-Singapore Ecosystem Connecting Session" to connect the ecosystems of Japan and Singapore during the 9th Japan Society for Transdisciplinary Research main conference (March 6-7, 2020 (Friday and Saturday)), inviting Enterprise Singapore (Singapore Enterprises Board) as a session partner. Enterprise Singapore (Singapore Enterprises Board) will be invited as a session partner.

　Singapore has one of the best venture ecosystems in Asia. It is positioned as a hub for ventures that promote problem solving in Southeast Asia. Japan has long been seen as an important market and collaborator for Singaporean companies, but due to differences in language and business practices, active collaboration has yet to materialize. To overcome this situation, Riverness and the Singaporean government will launch an initiative to connect the Japanese and Singaporean ecosystems in the form of support for Singaporean ventures entering the Japanese market from 2020. Through the joint implementation of the Japan Market Entry Support Program, RIVERNESS and Enterprise Singapore will support selected Singaporean ventures in their market development and technology development in Japan.

　In this session, five Singaporean venture companies selected under the Japan Market Entry Support Program will make pitches, and a panel session will be held by the Singapore Enterprise Agency, Singapore VCs, and Japanese companies to discuss the possibilities for collaboration between Singapore and Japan.

We will have a program of discussions among researchers, venture companies, and large corporations from various perspectives, not limited to the themes of this session.
