The 9th Hyperdisciplinarity Conference (March 6 and 7, 2020 @ Ota-ku, Tokyo, Japan) will be held!

(Head office: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; Group CEO: Yukihiro Maru) has been developing the "Super Interdisciplinary Society" since 2012 as a place where people from academia, large corporations, ventures, local factories, producers, educational institutions such as junior high schools and high schools, and local governments gather and cross-fertilize their knowledge to create new knowledge and seeds for new projects. The 8th Main Conference of the Society for Transdisciplinary Research held on March 8 and 9, 2019, was attended by 1,016 people from Japan and abroad, with 31 sessions, 137 poster presentations, and booth exhibits by 77 ventures and town factories over the two days. New businesses were born as a result of this event, and new things are happening through collaboration with people from different fields who do not usually meet.

The 9th Main Conference of the Association for Transdisciplinary Research, to be held on March 6 and 7, 2020, will feature 51 oral sessions (including keynote speeches), the largest number of any main conference to date, under the conference theme "A New Era of Knowledge Manufacturing. In addition to materials, life science, robotics, agriculture, drones, and infrastructure inspection, there will also be sessions on design, research institutes working to create places that accelerate the fusion of different fields, collaboration between overseas startups and local factories, and GovTech, which is attracting attention as an example of the use of technology to solve social issues by the government. We are also planning sessions of a type never seen before.
In addition to these oral sessions, we will also include poster presentations and booth exhibits to further multiply knowledge.

RIVERNESS will continue to promote efforts to move humanity one step forward by creating a place to accelerate the fusion of knowledge among different fields, based on the philosophy of "realizing the development of science and technology and contributing to the Earth".

Call for Poster Abstracts

Poster abstracts are now being accepted on the website of the 9th Hyperdifferential Conference.
Registration is open to all fields of study, including energy, materials, chemistry, life sciences, information science, robotics, electronics, agri-food, food, infrastructure such as architecture, mobility, and other topics not related to the session. Those interested in working with different fields are encouraged to register.
