Riverness will sponsor the event.Hyper Interdisciplinary Conference in Osaka Forum 2019(Saturday, May 18, 2019), within the panel discussion "From Kansai! Creating an Omoroi Blueprint for the Future (Closing Session)" will be held.

How will our lives change as modern science and technology develop? This question will be considered from the perspectives of research, business, government, and architecture, based on the discussions held in each session of the Osaka Forum 2019 of the Association of Hyperdifferent Fields. Together with the speakers and audience, we will draw an "Omoroi Future Blueprint" that can be expected to be realized through the science, technology, and culture that Kansai prides itself on, and create an opportunity to start working toward its realization.

We have prepared a program of discussions among researchers, venture companies, and large corporations from various perspectives, not limited to the themes of this session. We are currently accepting applications for audience participation. Please visit the conference website (see below).

Mayor of Minato Ward, Osaka City
Akihiro Sujihara

Born in Wakayama Prefecture. Graduated from Osaka City University, Faculty of Commerce, and was appointed to Osaka City in 1985. After working at the ward office, he has been involved in port administration for more than 20 years, first as mayor of Taisho Ward in 2010 and then as mayor of Minato Ward in 2017. He has been called the "singing mayor" for creating PR songs for the ward and performing live on the streets, and appears frequently in the media. In 2019, he won the Mizubeling Innovator Award.

President and Representative Director, SCAPE Corporation / First-Class Architect
Masaya Shioura

Born in Tokyo, he has worked as an architect at Nikken Sekkei Inc. since 1999, where he designed the Tokyo Skytree Town, Midland Square in Nagoya, and other projects. He developed the concept of "Activity Design," a comprehensive design that includes the activation of people's activities in a space, and established the Nikken Activity Design lab within the company. In 2018, he founded SCAPE Inc.

Yasunori Kawasaki

Born in Osaka in 1960. After working for Nippon Life Insurance Company, joined Rohto Pharmaceutical in 1986. After the Great East Japan Earthquake of March 11, 2011, he spent three years in the disaster area as the head of the Reconstruction Support Office and devoted himself to disaster reconstruction efforts. In 2018, he founded "Well Being Osaka" to promote health management and work style reforms with the participation of Osaka Prefecture and 130 companies in the Kansai region, and is a promoter of cross-sectoral collective impact with governments and NPOs to address regional issues. Since April 2018, he has been a part-time lecturer at Kobe University Graduate School.

Jyo Inoue

D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Tokyo University of Pharmacy and Life Sciences. He is a founding member of LIVERNESS. After completing his doctoral studies, he worked as an assistant professor and lecturer at the Faculty of Science, Kitasato University, and an assistant professor at the Graduate School of Medicine, Kyoto University, before being appointed and concurrently serving as a specially-appointed associate professor at the Institute for Advanced Biosciences, Keio University in 2015, and as a professor of advanced pharmacy at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Kumamoto University and a visiting professor at Keio University's Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences in 2018. While conducting research and development, he is a researcher involved in launching joint research projects with universities and research institutions and supporting the establishment of research institutes.

Yuji Fukuda

Born in Izumi City, Osaka Prefecture. Completed the master's program at Nara Institute of Science and Technology. After working at a pig farm run by a livestock feed wholesaler, he joined RIVANES Corporation in 2009. Soon after joining the company, he was assigned to the Okinawa office, where he worked on research into the utilization of unused local resources and built the "Fukkojo Pork" brand pig. in September 2016, he was transferred to Kumamoto Prefecture, where he is promoting research into a nature-friendly industry where local resources, people, and people across generations live in harmony with each other. Director of Fukkojo Farm Co. He arrived at the Osaka headquarters in April 2018.
