A panel discussion titled "What is the fundamental power of "manufacturing" to realize livestock IoT" (session partner: AOXINTECH Co., Ltd.) will be held during the Japan Society for Hyperdifferent Fields Conference Tokyo 2022 (March 4 (Fri.) - 5 (Sat.), 2022). The panel discussion will be held from Friday, March 5 to Saturday, March 5, 2012.

Hyper Interdisciplinary Conference in Tokyo 2022

The livestock industry, which has supported Japan's food sophistication, faces many challenges, such as rising feed prices and a decrease in the number of farmers. In order to solve these issues, sensors and systems for monitoring the environment and the condition of pigs are being developed, but in order for these systems to actually function on farms, manufacturing capabilities are required, such as withstanding the environment of the barns and installing sensors in accordance with the design. Using livestock production as an example, we will consider the new value that manufacturing can provide in this age of DX.

Not limited to the themes of this session, we will have a program of discussions among researchers, startups, and large companies from a variety of perspectives. For details, please refer to the conference website.
