The 9th Meeting of the Society for Transdisciplinary Research] To What Extent Can Humanity Unlock the Potential of Plants / March 7, 2020, 17:00-@Ota-ku, Tokyo
2020.02.21Can you pull it out?
A panel discussion, "To What Extent Can Humanity Unlock the Potential of Plants?" (session partner: Plantex Corporation), will be held within the 9th Main Conference of the Society for Transdisciplinary Research, hosted by LIVANES (March 6-7, 2020 (Friday and Saturday)).
Since the beginning of time, humans have discovered the potential of plants and used them as food and medicine. These plants have increased their yield and active ingredients through breeding and improved cultivation methods. In the midst of future global population growth and climate change, humans must harness the potential of plants in order to continue stable development.
In this session, we will invite researchers on plant cultivation and functional ingredients to hear about the potential of plants and how to bring it out, and discuss the future envisioned when it is reflected in future production sites.
We will have a program of discussions among researchers, start-ups, and large companies from a variety of perspectives, not limited to the themes of this session.
Audience members are invited to attend the conference. Please visit the conference website (see below).
