A panel discussion, "Seeing the World through 4D Thinking" (session partner: Kobashi Kogyo Co., Ltd.), will be held within the 9th Main Conference of the Association of Hyperdifferent Fields, March 6-7, 2020 (Friday and Saturday), hosted by LIVERNESS.

In a world like Japan, where the economy has become a maturity issue, finding deep issues on a global scale that each individual wants to solve (deep issues) and solving them with a collection of technologies (deep tech) will lead to a sustainable society and new business development. However, different countries and cultures face different challenges and have different evolutionary timelines, so in looking at deep issues, "4D thinking," in which knowledge and research from different countries with their own unique vectors are viewed in terms of aspects, is important. Since 2017, RIVANES has planned and implemented deep tech tours to uncover unique issues and foster 4D thinking through encounters with government agencies, university researchers, startups, and incubators in Southeast Asia, the US, and Europe.
In this session, we will invite panelists who have visited more than 4 countries with LIVERNESS to discuss how to cooperate with each country and the challenges they have faced.

We will have a program of discussions among researchers, start-ups, and large companies from a variety of perspectives, not limited to the themes of this session.
Audience members are invited to attend the conference. Please visit the conference website (see below).
