[Report on the Implementation] The Super Heterodox Society Osaka 2025 was held on Saturday, September 6, 2025.

(Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; President and CCO: Jyo Inoue) held a super heterodox conference Osaka 2025 (hosted by RIVANES) on Saturday, September 6, 2025.

With the cooperation of all 12 partner companies and organizations, the conference theme was "Marriage of the Unknown," and through one keynote speech, 20 research pitches (super interdisciplinary splash), 125 poster presentations and booth exhibits, and two calls for collaborative themes (knowledge manufacturing ignition project), discussions transcended various boundaries, including different fields and industries. The event was attended by 367 participants, including researchers, venture companies, large corporations, small and midsize companies, small and midsize factories, local governments, junior high and high school students, and others, including participants from four overseas countries (Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Taiwan).

The keynote speech was given by Dr. Takushi Narumi, Associate Professor at the University of Tokyo, on the topic of "Edited Senses, Expanded Self.

In addition, a "Knowledge Manufacturing Ignition" project was conducted for all visitors on the day of the event, in which participants formed teams with each other to generate collaborative hypotheses in different fields.

This project utilized the "Super Interdisciplinary Splash," "Poster and Booth Core Time," and "Lunch Workshop" to solicit collaborative hypotheses generated from discussions among participants.

Of the 14 ideas submitted, 9 were selected, and the teams were given 3-minute presentations at the "Co-Creation Pitch" in the afternoon, with awards given to the co-creation themes that we particularly wanted to support.

The Association for Transdisciplinary Research is a place where participants from different fields and industries collaborate across boundaries to create new knowledge.
