[Implementation Report] The Tokyo Conference 2025 of the Association of Hyperdifferent Fields held on March 7 - 8, 2025.

(Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; President and CCO: Jyo Inoue) held the Tokyo 2025 Conference of the Association of Hyperdifferent Fields (hosted by RIVANES) on Friday, March 7 - Saturday, March 8, 2025.

With the cooperation of 24 partner companies and organizations, the conference theme was "Creating Empathy and Expanding Domain," and discussions transcended various boundaries, including different fields and industries, through 2 keynote speeches, 18 sessions, 40 research pitches, and 262 poster and booth abstracts. Over 1030 people attended the two-day event, including participants from overseas, researchers, venture companies, large corporations, small and medium-sized enterprises, local governments, and elementary, junior high, and high school students.

Conference Theme: Creating Empathy, Expanding Territory

In the session "TECH PLANTER World Communication -Go to Asian Market-," the six best teams from TECH PLANTER, Asia's largest deep tech venture ecosystem for FY2024, made their pitches, and two of them, Teraform Inc. SPHinX Inc. were selected to participate in the "Asia Final" to be held in Malaysia in August 2025.

In addition, "Knowledge Manufacturing Ignition" was implemented as one of the experimental projects to generate collaborative hypotheses among different fields from poster sessions. In this project, during the convention, we utilized the "Super Interdisciplinary Splash" and "Poster & Booth Core Time" to solicit collaborative hypotheses generated from discussions among participants, among which we selected co-creation themes that we particularly wanted to support, and awarded each of them with a prize. A total of 26 application ideas were gathered through this project.

The Association for Transdisciplinary Research is a place where participants from different fields and industries collaborate across boundaries to create new knowledge. We will promote new projects that emerge from this forum, and based on the results of these projects, we will continue to create a chain of research that will lead to new interdisciplinary fusions in the future.
