Call for Abstracts] The Philippines Congress of the Association for Transdisciplinary Research will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2012.
2019.10.30
The Philippines boasts an average age of 24, a total population of 100 million, and the third highest percentage of English speakers in the world. Despite its youth, energy, and human resources that are capable of spreading its wings around the world, the country's development has been slow due to a complicated domestic political and geographical situation. However, since President Duterte took office in 2016 with his strong leadership, the country's policies and legal system have been changing dramatically to solve domestic issues, and the country is beginning to look overseas for resources, The Philippines, which is made up of more than 7,000 islands, has many issues that need to be resolved in areas such as infrastructure, agriculture, education, and healthcare. We believe that we can work together with the energetic Filipino people to solve these problems, using resources from Japan and other countries that are also island nations.
The theme of the conference is "Island Issues and Potential" and will bring together researchers and start-ups in various fields that aim to solve issues in the island nation of the Philippines. The conference will create a forum for the creation of new knowledge to solve the country's issues, transcending the framework of universities, companies, fields of expertise, race, and national borders.
We are calling for poster abstracts and general participation for the conference. We look forward to your participation.
