The call for abstracts for research poster presentations at the Transdisciplinary Society Osaka Forum 2019, to be held on Saturday, May 18, 2019, is now open. The "Technology Splash," an interdisciplinary pitch session by researchers that has been well received at the conference, will be held for the first time in Osaka this year. Anyone who has presented a research poster is welcome to speak, so please consider participating in this session as well. Please consider participating in this session and let's have a heated discussion!

What is "Technology Splash"?

The word "splash" means "to jump or splash (water, etc.), to fall with a zap. In this project, researchers who are presenters will share the most passionate aspects of their research with the participants, transcending the boundaries of their fields and affiliations. Participants (audience), on the other hand, will be exposed to the knowledge and enthusiasm of researchers who will appear one after another and dive into the world of different fields. In a series of short presentations in very different fields, the enthusiasm of the presenters and the enthusiasm of the participants collide, and new research ideas and friends are born as if by splashing. That is what "Technology Splash" is all about.
