As Thailand moves toward a vision of “universities reimagined”, this transformation is driven by government policy, leading universities, and global developments. The goal is to modernise higher education so it better aligns with industry needs, enhances international competitiveness, and keeps pace with the digital era.
The theme for HIC TH 2026, “Re-imagining Connections: From Education to Ecosystem”, highlights how diverse areas of knowledge intersect to shape the future of Thai society. It begins with the foundation of social systems and communities, moves through the influential roles of industry and the environment, and culminates in education, where universities act as key catalysts for turning reimagination into reality.
