As early as three years have passed since the \"Kunming-Montreal Biodiversity Framework\" came into effect in December 2022, the time has come for the world to think about what a \"society in harmony with nature\" means, and for companies to act accordingly. At the same time, we are beginning to question who and with what intention will continue to protect the land that is the subject of conservation and regeneration, and the meaning of \"inheriting abundance\". We will ask about the significance of promoting sustainable development that goes beyond the human habitat and looks at the ecosystem of the entire planet.<\/p>\n

\nRepresentative Director and CEO, HiLable, Inc.<\/p>\n

D., Graduate School of Informatics, Kyoto University, 2013. D. (Informatics). Engaged in research on frog chorus and robot ensemble. After conducting sound research at Honda Research Institute Japan in the same year, he founded and became the president of HiLable, Inc. in 2016. With microphone array processing and sound AI as core technologies, he provides Hylable Discussion, which visualizes face-to-face and web conference conversations; Bamiel, which visualizes speech volume in indoor spaces; and KoeTurri, which monitors the voices of living organisms. The company has analyzed more than 140,000 conversations in total and has been continuously measuring the voices of living organisms in parks and commercial facilities for more than two years. He received the 17th Japan e-Learning Award from the Minister of Health, Labor and Welfare, among others.<\/p>\n\r\n\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t<\/div>\r\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Mr. Ken Miki<\/strong>
\nProfessor, Environmental Science Course, Faculty of Advanced Science and Engineering, Ryukoku University<\/p>\n

D., Ph.D., Kyoto University, Japan, in 2006; led a laboratory at the National Taiwan University Institute of Oceanography for 10 years from 2008 to 2018, when he was transferred to his current position. Based on mathematical biology, he has developed biodiversity research integrating experiments and observations. He has received the Miyachi Award from the Ecological Society of Japan, the Encouragement Award from the Japanese Society for Mathematical Biology, and the Shiga Tech Planter Grand Prix Special Award. Currently, he is working not only on biodiversity assessment, but also on the development and social implementation of indicators to quantify ecosystem resilience and to detect ecosystem change with the smallest possible data. He is scheduled to join the Faculty of Sustainability (tentative name), which is based on the three fields of biodiversity science, environmental engineering, and economics and business administration.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\r\n\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t<\/div>\r\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

During his student days, he was engaged in elucidating the causes of mass outbreaks of poisonous jellyfish, while participating in the business development, development, and establishment of a venture company.
