\u25fe\ufe0fThe current location of the Liberace Research Fund<\/strong><\/span>
\nIt has been 17 years since RIVERNESS launched the \"RIVERNESS Research Grant\" in 2009 for researchers in academia under the age of 40. In addition, the number of research themes has reached 250, and the diversity of research fields in which the grant recipients are engaged continues to increase. In addition, more than 70% of the researchers selected so far belong to academia, and many of them are leading researchers in Japan.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u25fe\ufe0f Potential Community of Research Grant Adopters and Intent to Conduct a Grand Exchange<\/strong><\/span>
\nWe believe that the number of recipients of the LIBANES research grant and the diversity of their fields will help researchers in academia to create research that fuses different fields.\u3000Furthermore, we believe that by involving companies beyond the collaboration among researchers, it will lead to the creation of a new form of industry-academia collaboration in which groups of researchers in academia and companies work together to address technological and social issues.
\n<\/span>\u3000Against this background, we decided to create a place where researchers can make friends to set up cross-disciplinary research. As a first step, we have decided to hold the \"RIBANES Research Fund Grand Exchange Meeting\" within the Tokyo 2026 transdisciplinary conference as an opportunity for past recipients of the RIBANES Research Fund to gather, discuss each other's research, and create cross-disciplinary collaboration.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u3000At the Grand Exchange, a poster corner will be set up in the poster room of the Super Interdisciplinary Conference, where the recipients of the RIBANES Research Grant will gather, and the recipients will make 90-second pitches to communicate their research to each other.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u3000Taking the opportunity of the Grand Exchange of REVANES Research Funds, we aim to evolve the REVANES Research Funds not only as a project for young researchers with individual passions to take their research ideas one step further, but also as a platform for creating new research through collaboration in different fields.<\/span><\/p>\n

Hyper Interdisciplinary Conference Tokyo 2026<\/h2>\n

Hyper Interdisciplinary Conference is a place where researchers, large corporations, small factories, and venture companies, regardless of their field or industry, can fuse their knowledge and technology through discussion, identify new research themes and issues that humanity needs to face, and promote research together.<\/p>\n

There are numerous fields of research that are simultaneously deepening and differentiating. In addition, looking at society, there are many issues that cannot be solved without combining the various types of knowledge that have emerged from research. In a society where knowledge is diversifying and issues are becoming more complex, the Society for Hyper Interdisciplinary Communication will continue to create new disciplines and methods to solve social issues by integrating knowledge through Hyper Interdisciplinary Communication.
\nAt the Hyperdisciplinarity Conference Tokyo 2026, we will raise each individual's perspective through 18 sessions over two days, and accelerate communication to gather knowledge across all boundaries. By uniting the knowledge accumulated through this process based on empathy, we aim to generate new questions and projects, and transform them into practical knowledge that moves industry and society.<\/p>\n
