RIVANES has released a cartoon depicting the origins of the Society prior to the Society's Tokyo 2025 conference, which will be held on Friday and Saturday, March 7 and 8, 2025.<\/p>\n
The film, based on interviews with members at the time of its launch, begins with a casual chat among students. 23 years have passed since its launch in 2002. The Association for the Study of Ultra-Different Fields has become a unique place where diverse researchers and companies with their own expertise and passion can gather to form interdisciplinary teams to take on new challenges, inspired by things they would never have thought of doing alone, in order to envision a future they could not envision alone and reach a place they could not reach alone. The Tokyo meeting of the Association of Transdisciplinary Studies is becoming a place where more than 1,000 people gather every year.<\/p>\n
