LIVERNESS Corporation held the Masuda Forum 2022, an interdisciplinary conference in Masuda City, Shimane Prefecture, on Saturday, September 3, 2022, with 92 participants, including researchers, venture companies, large corporations, and companies in Masuda City. We will continue to put into practice the projects that emerged from this forum.<\/p>\n

Although Masuda City in Shimane Prefecture is located a 10-minute drive from Hagi\/Ishimi Airport, it has been listed by the Council for the Creation of Japan as one of the cities with the potential to disappear due to its declining population, aging population with low birthrate, lack of agricultural bearers, and devastated mountain forests. Since 2018, RIVANES has been working with the people of Masuda City to create highly unique projects that combine the knowledge and technology of researchers from inside and outside the prefecture with local resources in order to solve these local issues.<\/p>\n

At the 2022 Forum, we will disseminate the results of four projects we have been working on: \"Health Tech Mall Demonstration Research,\" \"Grazing Livestock Production in Abandoned Forest Land,\" \"Agribusiness Using Unused Resources,\" and \"Marine Litter Drift Diagnosis Using Drones,\" and also gather new colleagues and create new projects. The event also brought together new colleagues to create new projects.<\/p>\n
