The development of medium-sized and core companies in the region is essential to halt the contraction of the regional economy and the concentration of business in Tokyo, and to achieve sustainable development of the region. Today, many cases are emerging in which small and medium-sized companies and start-ups are collaborating to develop existing businesses, create new businesses, and nurture start-ups, which can lead to the revitalization of local industries. In this session, we will hear from medium-sized and small companies and start-ups that have actually created such cases of collaboration and discuss how these entities should cooperate with each other in order to create such cases.<\/p>\n

Not limited to the themes of this session, we will have a program of discussions among researchers, startups, and large companies from a variety of perspectives. For details, please refer to the conference website.<\/p>\n
