In particular, Singapore, which depends on imports for about 90% of its food, is expected to become a global food tech hub in the future after the world's first cell-derived cultured chicken was approved for sale at the end of last year.<br \/>\nThe Liverness Group is actively supporting ventures in the alternative meat and food packaging areas in Singapore and Malaysia. Shiok Meats, a Singaporean company in which Realtech Holdings has invested, aims to develop shrimp cell cultured meat through collaboration with Japanese ventures and business companies.
