A panel discussion, \"Evolving 'People's' Learning with School as the Starting Point\" (powered by RIVANES Corporation's Education Research Center), will be held within the 10th Annual Conference of the Association of Hyperdifferent Fields, sponsored by RIVANES (March 5-6, 2021 (Friday and Saturday)).<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

What kind of place should schools be in the future? Coincidentally, the Japanese school education system is being redesigned to coincide with the change in the Courses of Study. Schools may function as a \"place\" where people of various affiliations and positions can gather. The people who gather together form project teams that transcend the boundaries of the organizations they belong to, and all members continue to learn as they work together toward a goal by bringing their respective strengths to bear. In this session, we will discuss with experts from various perspectives the vision of a school that can create opportunities to continue facing real issues and questions in order to keep thinking about questions that have no answers.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

We will have a program of discussions among researchers, start-ups, and large companies from a variety of perspectives, not limited to the themes of this session.

Currently, as the Director of Sustainability and Public Relations at Nittetsu Engineering Corporation, which was spun off as a separate company in 2006, he is working on the integration of SDGs\/ESGs into management. After completing the doctoral program, he worked as an assistant professor and lecturer at the Faculty of Science, Kitasato University, and as an assistant professor at the Graduate School of Medicine, Kyoto University before becoming a specially-appointed associate professor at the Institute for Advanced Biosciences, Keio University in 2015 and a professor at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Kumamoto University in 2018.
