\n\u3000In 2020, which is said to be the era of the great closing down of the machi-factories, the concept of \"monozukuri\" will disappear from Japan if this trend continues. Until now, humankind has pursued economic growth through mass production and mass consumption, centered on the manufacturing industry, in order to pursue convenience and to make things more efficient.
\nHowever, the era of competing on quantity is now over, and a sustainable industrial structure is required. What kind of industrial structure for manufacturing will the town factories that have played a central role in the production of major manufacturers in the age of mass production and mass consumption need to establish in Japan in the future?
\nAoki Seisakusho, a leader in automotive parts processing in Tochigi Prefecture for 30 years, is taking on the challenge of a new symbiotic manufacturing industry by leveraging its strength in the sustainable business of machine repair, maintenance, and overhaul since its inception.
\n<\/span><\/span>
\nIn this session, Yukihiro Maru, CEO of the Liverness Group, moderated the session with Keita Aoki, President of Aoki Seisakusho, who is seeking co-creation with local factories and start-ups, etc., while conducting high-quality manufacturing at his own factory.VAIO<\/span>Ltd. and Mitsunobu Yoshida, Representative Executive Officer and President of MISUMI Corporation, which aims for a digital revolution in parts procurement.<\/span><\/span>We will discuss where the manufacturing industry is going.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
