Within the 9th Main Conference of the Association of Hyperdifferent Fields (March 6-7, 2020 (Friday and Saturday)), hosted by LIVERNESS, a panel discussion entitled \"Agri-Tech Demonstration Research Real Conference - Venture, Large Company, Farmer, 1 year of collaboration, what are you going to do now? \uff5ewill be held during the conference (March 6-7, 2020, Friday and Saturday).<\/span>
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

The 9th Main Conference of the Association of Hyperdifferent Fields WEB:https:\/\/hic.lne.st\/conference\/hic2020\/<\/a><\/b><\/strong><\/span><\/div>\n


\nIn recent years, research and development has been actively conducted by large corporations, venture companies, and researchers to realize agriculture using robots, IoT, and data. In a wide range of fields, such as paddy rice, open field vegetables, and fruit trees, there has been an increase in the number of efforts to develop demonstrations in actual agricultural fields. In this session, we will focus in particular on sensing technology, which is indispensable for data utilization, and together with three people who have actually worked together in demonstration trials over the past year, we will open up real discussions on the next step forward. (Participants in this session will receive a \"Community Support\" booklet compiled by the RIVANES Community Development Division with examples of demonstration projects in the community.)<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

We have prepared a program of discussions among researchers, venture companies, and large corporations from various perspectives, not limited to the themes of this session. We are looking for audience members, so please join us. Please visit the conference website (see below).<\/span><\/span>

\n<\/strong>Kazuhiro Nishioka<\/strong>
\n<\/span>He developed a low-cost sap flow sensor that measures the flow rate of sap sucked up by plants from their roots, and founded a venture company at the University of Tokyo to promote its use in the agricultural scene. At the same time, he has served as an advisor to several agri-tech ventures. His love of wine led him to organize Team Kisvin, a viticulture research group, 14 years ago, while he was involved in winemaking in Yamanashi, Japan. This year, he will start winemaking in California, USA.<\/span><\/p>\n

\n<\/strong>Shuichiro Takahashi<\/strong>
\n<\/span>D. (Life Sciences), Graduate School of Frontier Sciences, The University of Tokyo. He has been involved in RIVANESS since its establishment. After completing his graduate studies, he continued his research activities as a faculty member at the University of Tokyo, while at the same time he established a research institute at RIVANESS and built the foundation of its research and development business. He devised the business model of \"Liberness Research Grant,\" a unique research grant, and \"L-RAD,\" a database of unutilized research ideas, and has initiated many open innovation projects involving industry, academia, and education.
\n<\/span><\/p>\n
