In such a situation, the field close at hand to which we humans turn our intellectual curiosity and pioneering spirit is the \"sea,\" an environment filled with seawater that is 90% unexplored and where technologies developed on land and in space are not applicable. On the other hand, the biosphere, which is different from the terrestrial realm, is a rich food resource and a treasure trove of useful substances. In this session, two teams from the ocean project being carried out jointly by the Nippon Foundation and RIVANES will take the stage to introduce new research and business themes emerging from the ocean: a team working on the development of innovative technology for seafloor topographic mapping and a team working on the creation of new businesses in the ocean.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We will have a program of discussions among researchers, venture companies, and large corporations from various perspectives, not limited to the themes of this session.<br \/>\nAudience members are invited to attend the conference. In his current position, he is investigating the isolation of deep-sea microorganisms and their adaptation to the environment.
