In the past, the mainstream trend was for companies to search for targets for joint research and to approach them, but this trend has recently been changing. Researchers are now taking their own perspectives and expertise and proposing various approaches to the themes proposed by companies, or researchers themselves are starting their own businesses and proposing collaboration, creating a two-way mixture of knowledge. This change may also have an impact on the conception of research themes in academia.
In this session, we will discuss the origins of the research that leads to new technologies and knowledge that could bring about future change.

We will have a program of discussions among researchers, venture companies, and large corporations from various perspectives, not limited to the themes of this session.
Audience members are invited to attend the conference.
